Send enough information for a useful first review
A drawing or CAD model is the best starting point. Add the expected quantity, operating environment, mating parts and any fixed resin requirement. For gears, racks and sprockets, include the complete geometry and the mating transmission details where available.
If you are replacing an existing component, include the current part number or sample reference and explain what must remain interchangeable.
