Send a controlled drawing, CAD, material or service requirements, mating interface, CTQs, quantity and the functional acceptance method. Identify whether the project is a new design, replacement or cost-down because the validation path differs.<\/p>\n<p>Record the assumptions on the drawing or RFQ so the supplier can confirm them before quoting.
